Before you can complete a reservation for a hotel or any other accommodation, you will be required to complete forms online that include data such as your name, number, address, email address, and credit card. You may also be asked other registration information. All of this data is necessary to complete the reservation process. Once the process is complete, this information may also be sent to the email address provided.
For Quitalia to complete your booking and comply with all disclosures as required by law, Quitalia will need to disclose your personal data, including your credit card details, to the hotel taking your reservation. We may also disclose some of your information to third party distributors that perform services on our behalf. Any and all third party retailers are required to sign confidentiality obligations that legally prohibit them from disclosing information for any purpose other than to assist with Quitalia services.
Once you have completed your booking, you agree to receive an email with information on your hotel reservation, details of other offers, destination information, and third party information. Another email may be sent right after your stay at the hotel in order to find out how your stay went. This email will invite you to fill out a survey or guest form that asks questions about the quality of your stay, and may be used on our website. Furthermore, an email may be sent to you from our staff, if necessary, regarding a problem or to answer any questions related to our services, sent to us via the contact form.
Once you have completed a guest review, you grant the right for Quitalia to upload the information anonymously to the information page of the hotel in order to provide other potential customers with your experience regarding the quality of service. In addition, Quitalia will be entitled to use the information in any form, including marketing and promotion - including inclusion into apps, newsletters or other channels owned or hosted by Quitalia. At any point we may adjust, remove, edit or refuse reviews at our discretion, and with no reason given. The reviews are for informational purposes only and are not designed for other commercial uses. We may also contact you with information that you have opted into, such as the newsletter or special offer information. However, we will not send you any additional offers or information without your consent.
Your credit card information is secure and private. We have implemented several online protocols to prevent unauthorized access. Your data is submitted via a secure encryption method known as SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer). We also have several protections in place – both online and offline – to prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal information. According to the Israeli law on the Protection of Privacy -1981- any person is entitled to review information pertaining to himself stored in the data base. A person who peruses such information and found it to be inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or not updated, may contact the owner of the database and request to correct, amend or delete this information. Such an application must be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, if the company’s database information is used to personally contact you, you are entitled - according to Privacy Law - 1981- to demand that this information be deleted from the database. If this policy should undergo significant changes, new instructions referring to the use of personal information will be posted on Quitalia’s home page.
